Frenkie de Jong is likely to come on as a late substitute in Tuesday’s win over Brest as the Dutch midfielder is not fully fit football.

‘What I have to say is he’s working very hard to come back. He’s not 100 per cent fit yet. He has to get back to his best form. I’m sure he will. We’ll keep an eye on him.’

‘Frenkie needs a little bit of recovery, he can play on Saturday (against Las Palmas). The important thing is the whole team. We want all the players to be back in top form.’ Flick said.
